The 2015 Toronto Blue Jays season was a whirlwind of excitement and passion. To commemorate this historic season, I designed a stamp set featuring four iconic players: Josh Donaldson, Jose Bautista, Troy Tulowitzki, and Marcus Stroman.
Rather than opting for the traditional trading card style, I aimed to create a modern and artistic approach that would resonate with fans and collectors alike. The design process involved selecting a bold color palette of blues, reds, whites, and blacks to evoke the energy and intensity of the games. Each stamp was meticulously crafted to capture the essence of each player’s unique style and contribution to the team’s success. By combining striking typography with dynamic imagery, I sought to create a visually striking and memorable collection that would stand out from other sports-themed stamps.
